This listing is for an original vintage Frank Medico briar tobacco pipe, stamped “Frank Medico – Real Briar – Pat. 207585.” Frank Medico was a well-known American pipe manufacturer producing briar pipes in the United States during the mid-20th century.
Based on the patent marking, construction, and stamp style, this pipe dates to approximately the late 1940s through early 1960s. It features a rusticated briar bowl with smooth vertical panels, a straight stem, and an aluminum accent band.
The pipe is offered in unrestored vintage condition. The bowl shows interior darkening consistent with prior use, the exterior displays surface wear and patina, and the stem shows oxidation and handling wear. No cracks or structural breaks are visible, and all stampings remain readable.
