Part elephant, part donkey, and entirely unexpected, this vintage Assurance rubber squeak toy turns two familiar American political symbols into one wonderfully playful collectible. Its gray molded body combines the elephant of the Republican Party with the donkey of the Democratic Party, while red, white, and blue stars and stripes complete the patriotic design.

Still able to squeak when pressed, it makes an amusing addition to a political memorabilia collection, office bookshelf, Americana display, or cabinet filled with unusual vintage novelties.
