Let’s get cooking up some science! Join us for a cooking-inspiring Preschool Discovery Hour in November. This month, we are partnering with Rayna Jo. Zest, the author of “Oliver the Owl: The Culinary Pro.” Activities include salt dough cookies, simple circuits, pattern blocks food pictures, food delivery drivers, and more!
Preschool Discovery Hour is a FREE program held on the second Wednesday and Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. It is an opportunity for children and their favorite adults to participate in hands-on activities and explore concepts together. Early childhood educators will be present to engage little learners and their guardians in understanding the concepts together.
Once the PDH program concludes, families are encouraged to explore the interactive exhibits gallery. The gallery will be open earlier to those who choose to stay and explore for a quieter environment before opening to the public at 10:00 a.m. Gateway to Science members can visit the gallery at no charge, while non-members will pay regular admission fees.
