Here’s to bold birthdays, big dreams, and the unexpected magic in between.

Two years ago, during a playful photoshoot for my 50th birthday, I popped on a crown — just for fun and because I’m extra like that.
I had no idea that simple moment would quietly spark something that would later become a whole thing (like... logo-worthy, brand-defining kind of thing).
During that shoot after a few hours of chatting about my life and 50 years of experiences, my photographer casually said,
“You should write a book.”
And honestly? I laughed. But here we are.

Fast forward to today, and not only am I celebrating another trip around the sun 🎂, I’m also celebrating a milestone I never saw coming—400 books sold since introducing Oliver the Owl to the world!
What started with the debut book, Oliver the Owl: The Culinary Pro, has turned into an exciting adventure. I’ve created a website, launched a fun little merch shop, and even showed up on your TV screens (yep, I’ve been on Studio 701, ND Today, BekNews, and KFRY-TV Good News—no big deal 😏).
Then there were the book signings, retail partnerships, and the release of my second book, Oliver the Owl: A Sweet Season. And let’s not forget the read-along digital version—because who doesn’t love a good story time with Oliver?
Thank you—400 times over—for making this journey and birthday the BEST ever!
